I was standing under the birches, when the light moved behind the leaves and the whole canopy began to glow. I knew I didn't want a sharp frame. I wanted to capture the movement and light. Layering several photos allowed the trunks to overlap and blend into each other, with the golden leaves adding colour throughout the image.
